Privacy policy
Our practice is committed to protecting the privacy of patient information. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and applicable Victorian health-information laws.
What we collect and why
We collect the personal information necessary to provide your healthcare, including your name, date of birth, contact details, Medicare and concession numbers, health history, and clinical notes. Where reasonable and practicable, we collect this information directly from you.
How we hold and protect your information
Health information is held in our practice management software with access restricted to authorised staff. Paper records, where used, are stored securely. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure.
Who we disclose it to
We disclose your information only with your consent or where required or permitted by law, for example to other treating practitioners involved in your care, to Medicare, to pathology and imaging providers, or as required by court order or public-health law.

Access and correction
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. Please contact reception to make a request. We will respond within 30 days.
Website and the complaint form
Submissions to our feedback form are emailed to the practice manager and are not stored on this website. The website itself does not set tracking cookies and does not use third-party analytics.
Making a privacy complaint
If you have a concern about how your information has been handled, please contact the practice manager in the first instance. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
